
Pion is pleased to offer a 2½-day, in-person advanced training course June 9–11, 2026, showcasing real-world applications of our technology across the pharmaceutical industry through integrated case studies. Designed for users who have completed Basic Training and have at least three months of hands-on experience, this course delivers deeper technical knowledge and practical skills.
Through expert lectures, interactive discussions, and small-group workshops, participants will gain actionable insights to strengthen drug development and fully leverage their Pion fiber optic systems.
Schedule: 8:00–17:00 (Days 1–2); 8:00–12:00 (Day 3). Continental breakfast, lunches, and one group dinner included.

Day 1 – Advanced spectroscopic data analysis
Lectures on method development and UV-Vis data analysis in AuPRO
Working with two or more absorbing components powered by the Zero-Intercept Method (ZIM) or Multi-Component Analysis (MCA)
Hands-on sessions to practice data analysis using basic and advanced features.
Day 2 – Dissolution and Flux assay design and evaluation
Lectures on dissolution and permeation assays & applications, using Predictor for data analysis & absorption prediction.
Dissolution and FLUX instrument demonstration
Hands-on sessions with AuPRO and Predictor on dissolution-supersaturation-precipitation and permeation assays, data troubleshooting & analysis, and calculating percent fraction absorbed
