Dr. Manuel Sanchez-Felix is the Founder and Principal of Sanchez-Felix Drug Delivery Consulting, established in January 2026. A recognized scientific leader with over two decades of pharmaceutical experience across drug discovery and development, Dr. Sanchez-Felix previously served as Vice President of Drug Delivery Search & Evaluation at Halozyme Therapeutics and held senior scientific leadership roles at Novartis and Eli Lilly & Company.
Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary teams in developing and implementing novel delivery technologies for complex modalities—including biologics, peptides, gene therapies, and long-acting injectables—and co-invented multiple pharmaceutical products, such as Zyprexa Relprevv. Dr. Sanchez-Felix is also a founding member of the Subcutaneous Drug Delivery and Development Consortium and serves as an adjunct professor at Purdue University. His consulting practice focuses on biopharmaceutics, patient-centric formulation design, and advancing novel drug delivery strategies to accelerate clinical pipelines.
